IBS Treatment / Overcoming Irritable Bowel Syndrome
at the Huddersfield and Manchester Hypnotherapy Clinic
The symptoms of IBS are usually recurring (meaning that a person will have bouts of symptoms on an ongoing basis rather than just once or twice a year).
The severity and frequency of symptoms vary from person to person. Some people will experience an increase in the severity of symptoms when they feel stressed, whereas others will experience such an increase just after eating a large meal.
The primary symptoms of IBS is pain or discomfort (bloating, etc.) in the abdomen. Of course, if you have a stomachache, gas, or bloating once in a while, it doesn't mean you have IBS. It is generally accepted than eople with IBS have at least two of the following symptoms:
pain or discomfort that is relieved when a person has a bowel movement (goes to the toilet).
pain or discomfort that is accompanied by changes in a person's regular bowel movement patterns (a person with IBS may find him or herself going to the toilet more frequently or less frequently than usual).
some people will people develop diarrhea when suffering from IBS whereas others will develop a hardening of stools due to constipation.
The most common symptoms of IBS
Bloating of the stomach.
Stomach cramps.
Sharp stinging pains in the lower rectum (proctalgia fugax).

A feeling of having to rush to the toilet.
Constipation leading to difficulty passing stools.
Feelings that the rectum hasn't emptied completely when on the toilet.
Painful swallowing (odynophagia), but without hold-up of food.

What causes Irritable Bowel Syndrome? ... Anxiety it would seem!
The exact cause of IBS is unknown but there is evidently a strong link to anxiety. We know this because successful Pure Hypnoanalysis is able to allow the IBS sufferer to become an ex-sufferer and live his or her life permanently free from these symptoms. Quite commonly people who suffer from IBS notice that their symptoms get worse during for example exam times, or when having relationship difficulties, or during times when natural stress levels increase.
Treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Pure Hypnoanalysis
Using Pure Hypnoanalysis, I can help you release the bottled up emotions that are causing your IBS symptoms. This therapy is completely unique in that it is the only therapy to acknowledge that every psychosomatic problem has a cause and secondly is the only therapy in the world to be able to release the emotions that are causing the problem in the first place.
Medical intervention will only ever look at the symptom - and will seldom even acknowledge that there is a cause to IBS. Drugs will often be prescribed to try and help a bit - or diet advice will be given which can be of some help. Acid foods and strong spices are amongst a few of the foods that have been attributed to IBS onset.
Other therapies such as CBT, conventional hypnotherapy, psychology and counselling, like medical intervention, only ever attempt to deal with the symptoms of IBS, and NOT the cause.
Would you like some help to overcome IBS permanently?
I can help you life your life free of the symptoms of IBS using Pure Hypnoanalysis. By releasing the anxiety that is causing your symptoms your body will be able to recover and continue normal functioning. This will result in a permanent release from your symptoms - I don't intend to help you 'cope' with your symptoms - I want you to be able to live your life permanently free from them.
